Tips for getting unstuck
- Click every surface, not just the obvious ones. Clues hide under rugs, inside books, and on the backs of objects.
- If an item does not work somewhere, do not force it. Try combining it with something else in your inventory first.
- Write down codes or sequences when you find them. The room does not highlight clues you have already read.
- Work through one locked thing at a time rather than jumping around. A chain of solves is usually linear.
- If everything seems tried, go back to the close-up views. A detail you dismissed earlier often turns out to matter.
